Bellacraft was established in 2000 when Greg Smit, (with his background of engineering, art and design work) determined that a high quality, reasonably priced sofa was a scarcity in the market place. He felt that the public was unaware of the fact that most woods used in the manufacturing of the frame of a sofa, was not of a good quality. This resulted in ‘short life’ making the purchase of a designer sofa, not the investment that it ought to be.
Bellacraft is a medium sized soft furniture manufacturing company, producing a high quality product targeting the middle to high-end market, local and overseas. We supply CMT wholesale to the trade and retail to the general public at factory prices.
Bellacraft has a showroom and factory for general viewing by appointment.

The factory produces a wide range of select and contemporary leather and fabric designs, and also specializes in re-upholstering. This range of sleek modern furniture conforms to international standards.
The frame of the sofa is made from a laminated, resin based, waxed wood, which is also fire-retardant and water resistant. The product is reliable and hard-wearing. This quality wood is imported from America. Although the use of this material imposes a higher cost, the selling price remains affordable.
Bellacraft is the sole user of this product in the making of sofas in South Africa, taking the quality of sofa manufacturing to a new and better level.
Clients are invited to visit the factory to inspect the manufacturing of their purchase.

We charge a reasonable delivery fee within a 100 km radius and we will arrange for transport anywhere outside the area. We will install your furniture in exactly the place you want it, and dispose of the packaging.
